Trinity Football This Saturday!!!

Hey Band Family,

I hope that every has power by now! A flyer went home today with all of Saturday's information on it. (I have included that information below.) Your child can pick it up today or tomorrow in after school rehearsal depending on which day they stay after. (7th grade after school today and 8th grade after school tomorrow.)

Trinity Football: Homecoming!!!

Arrive at HMTCA: 9:30 am (We will have a rehearsal before the game).

Uniform: Under-uniform given to the students in after school rehearsal this week. (Gold shirt and blue shorts.) They will be wearing the wool uniforms for this performance.

Food: Pizza will be served before the game, but make sure to eat breakfast.

Pick up: Children will need to be picked up at 3:00 at HMTCA. Thank you and hope to see you at the game!

Veteran's Day Parade Performance Cancelled

Due to the storm and current power issues the Marching Phoenix will NOT be performing in the Veteran's Day Parade this weekend.

We will perform next Saturday at Trinity's final home football game! More info to come next week.

Columbus Day Parade Info

Hey Band!

The Hartford Columbus Day Parade is this Sunday, Oct 9. Your details are below:

Meet: at HMTCA at 8:30 AM

Uniform: Wear a blue t-shirt and khakis and appropriate shoes. Temperature will be in the 70's-80's

Parade Route: Starts at Franklin Ave/Maple Ave in Hartford, ends at the Wethersfield Town Line

Parade Length: 1.0 miles

Pickup - HMTCA at 12:00 PM

Parents - If you want to watch the parade, I suggest parking at HMTCA and walking over to Franklin Ave near the start of the parade (about a 5-10 minute walk). You will be able to see most of the parade and then walk back to meet your student at the school

Also, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY REHEARSAL NEXT WEEK ARE CANCELLED. FULL BAND REHEARSAL ON THURSDAY - 3:15-5:00!

Hey Band Family,

We are getting close to performance time!!! The following schedule for Trinity football games is for 7th - 9th grade. We will be performing during the game and at half time on the Trinity football field. Please come out and see HMTCA Marching Phoenix. Hope to see you there!!!

The 7th and 8th grade will be performing at the following parades...come check us out!

Park Road Parade in West Hartford Oct. 1 start time: 10:30
Columbus Day Parade in Hartford Oct. 9 start time: 10:00
Veteran's Day Parade in Hartford Nov. 6 start time: 1:00
St. Patrick's Day Parade in Hartford March 10 start time: 11:00

The band banquet will be March 22.

This year is shaping up to be busy, but the kids are working hard and we are very proud to be part of this program!

HMTCA Bands Schedule, weeks of 8/30 and 9/5

Hello everyone!

After a great week of band camp, there is NO REHEARSAL the first week of school. There will be a make-up session for students who missed band camp but those students will be notified on an individual basis.

Next week, after Labor Day, we will have after school rehearsal on the following schedule:

Wednesday 9/7: Drumline 3:15-4:30
Thursday 9/8: Woodwinds/Brass 3:15-5:00
